The following letter was sent to Park51.org:
Dear friends,
We are troubled by the anti-Muslim rhetoric so many citizens have expressed regarding the Park 51 ("Ground-zero”) mosque. We believe this is un-American and wanted you to know we support you.
Every month our community selects one of our members’ suggestions as an action item. We are spending the month of June promoting your endeavor and raising awareness of the importance of Islam in American society.
Any thoughts or comments you could share with our members would be most appreciated.
