Boehner signaled that the GOP is willing to play chicken with our nation's credit rating and once again demanded that debt caused by reckless captains of industry be paid for by middle class America.
Speaking at the Economic Club of New York, Boehner promised his audience that they will NOT be asked to make any sacrifices: according to Mr. Boehner, "Everything is on the table" EXCEPT repelling the tax holiday for the very wealthy. Chief on his list are "fundamental changes to Medicare."
Boehner and the GOP are vowing to let America go into default unless they get their way.
