Hello Voxomites! We are very excited to report that of the 5 letters we sent this week (to Nordstrom, Target, Macy’s, Anthropologie and Zara), we’ve already received responses from three! Yesterday, Macy’s left a voicemail for the VoxSQUAD, very excited about the letter, thought it was hilarious and important and claimed to be taking it “straight to the top” – whatever that means. All About Jeans
The word "jeans" comes from the French phrase bleu de Gênes, meaning, “The blue of Genoa.” Denim comes from the French phrase, de Nîmes, meaning from the town of Nimes. Dungaree is named after Dongari Killa in India. Jeans used to be all about where we are. Now they are all about who we are.
